The Bathtub in the Bedroom

If you don’t have the space for an En-Suite, why not take a page out of Stockholm’s Ett Hem Hotel and place a freestanding bath in the bedroom. Not only will it be a focal feature, but also there is certainly something rather charming about it. The mezzanine design gives it a really different and almost romantic feature especially as it’s facing the skylights – can’t you just imagine yourself admiring the stars from your bed… or bath!
The Cosy Nook
The wood paneling feature ceiling is to die for, it gives the space a real organic feel, especially with the neutral colours that have been used. This room could be used for any purpose – master bedroom, children’s bedroom, spare room, office… anything. In fact, this room would look completely at home in a period cottage loft conversion.
The Country Lodge
This space could be mistaken for a luxury country hotel room. There’s something really special about combination of the apex high beamed ceiling an the rustic, rugged wood paneled feature wall. With a loft extension transformed into this woodsy paradise you’ll probably want to spend most of your time relaxing with a hot mug of hot chocolate. Beautiful.
This really is an ingenious way of putting your loft extension to good use. It’s a good example of how a loft conversion can make your house work for you. Personally, I love the overlapping bunk beds as a clever space-saving solution.
The Mediterranean Memory
The stunning use of colour in this loft bedroom gives it such an airy, cool and atmosphere feel that you couldn’t be blamed for thinking that you were on holiday in the Med every morning you woke up. The simple and minimalistic design of this room with it’s porthole like window gives it an almost Spa like Zen.

This space takes loft-style living to a whole new level. We love the bedroom and bathroom all in one design. It may not be completely minimalist, but it sure is modern and practical way of making the most of your loft conversion, especially with the Velux roof light flooding the room with natural light.
We hope you liked some of the stylish bedroom ideas we have come up with this week. more to come next week, with a focus on outdoor spaces and your loft conversion.
